It is a single-lumen, flexible, variable stiffness composite catheter. The catheter body features a hydrophilic coating to reduce friction during use. The body of the catheter is visible under fluoroscopy.

With a Hybrid Mesh and Nitinol Spring design, it provides 1:1 push/pull control for enhanced traceability. The spring reinforcement ensures lumen integrity, flexibility, and excellent shape retention. The proximal variable-stepped mesh reinforcement provides support and torque control.

The inner lumen of the distal access catheter can accommodate guide wires with a diameter of up to 0.038 inches (0.97mm) to aid in catheter system placement. At the proximal end, there is a luer connection to allow for fluid infusion and attachment of accessories from within the system.
